How to survive your period:

I’ve taken the liberty here of creating a list of necessary items for when that annoying friend decides to visit once a month. Here are some things that I personally find to make it a more bearable process. This list covers cramps, and cravings and PMS, if you’re lucky enough not to have these symptoms then you can disregard the list!

1) Enjoy a vast assortment of junk food, I’m not only talking chocolate here, you have to ensure that you cover all your bases. The most obvious being your favorite chocolate, something from the gummy food group, something salty, and something greasy. Wash it all down with chocolate milk. Oh, and don’t forget the peanut butter.

2) Number two, it is imperative that you have some kind of bean bag that you can microwave or a heating pad. I don’t know what it is about putting heat on that area, but it works wonders!

3) Drugs, drugs, drugs.

4) Big underwear

5) A punching bag, or something or someone you can take your frustrations out on

6) Plenty of Fresh air to offset those sweaty moments

7) A movie about a whale

8) “Toddlers in Tiara’s” (Those bitchy Moms!) Or better yet “My 600 pound life” – sure to lift your spirits no matter how bloated you are.

9) Try to avoid any situations that might cause you undue stress of anger.

10) Finally, relax, lay around, it will be over soon.

OOTD

Today was one of the first really hot and sunny days thus far of the year. I hope that the nice weather will continue! I also was able to enjoy a day free of school and work, for once. For my outfit I decided to wear a printed dress from Costa Blanca, which is one of those pieces where you just never know if it was supposed to be a dress, or a tunic, or maybe its just short on me because I'm tall, all said and done it IS very short so I did wear black shorts underneath. Usually when I wear that dress I wear it with leggings but it was almost 30 degrees today.

Dress: Costa Blanca
Silver Sandals: Ardene
Purse: Aldo accessories
Sunglasses: Blonde

Hope everyone else is enjoying the beautiful weather. Blonde tips and possible youtube tutorial video to come.

I just came to say: Hello!

I like to start my notes to you as if we're already in the middle of a conversation. I pretend that we're the oldest and dearest of friends, opposed to what we actually are, people who don't know each other's names... Oh Meg Ryan, its hard not to like you, you and your giggles and your ever changing hairstyle.

Even though I don't know your names I thought you might like to know mine, I'm Karalee and in this blog I will be bringing you some fresh advice on fashion, style, hair, and makeup...
"Advice a form of nostalgia, dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off and painting over the ugly parts, and recycling for more than its worth".

For the most part I'm just a normal girl, grew up in small town, had dreams of becoming a journalist but instead, by some twist of fate, wound up in business school. I have a passion for fashion and all things style. Beauty and style bring color into my otherwise black and white world of taking care of business! So if you like what you hear so far... Stay tuned for more posts. My first post is going to be for all you blonde's out there, bottled or natural, I have some products and tips that I swear by for keeping blonde hair in prime condition. Later to come, a tutorial on how to dye your hair at home, the right way. And other posts will include outfits of the day, and makeup tutorials.

That's all for now.

p.s Yes I enjoy my references to 90's pop culture and I do use a lot of quotes, but what I enjoy even more is not having to write a bibliography for them.

Xoxo,

EvianAngel
